By joining, processors across the state will have a louder voice and our industry will strengthen. When you join KAMP, you immediately gain access to a group of fellow meat processors offering a network to connect and benefit from individuals with similar needs. KAMP serves as a strong proactive voice at a local, state and national level. The organization offers members representation for membership in the Kentucky agriculture community, including commodity groups and universities. This representation will also help encourage university and extension programs to fit your needs. KAMP offers representation with the Kentucky Livestock Coalition to promote eating meat and resisting groups that discourage a meat-free lifestyle. KAMP helps to unify the state meat processors by offering opportunities for members to interact and share ideas. This will help address issues such as workforce development and create a unified group to share ideas. KAMP will be monitoring government regulation and legislation at both a state and national level. The Association will help with finding financial advice and potential funding opportunities. There will be programs geared toward improving your profit and reducing costs. By joining, there will be educational opportunities from both a processing and a retail perspective.
